| Bill ("MA-KIT-KA") is a PGA Class A Golf Professional having successfully completed the intensive, multi-year PGA/Professional Golf Management (PGM) program in January, 2007. Bill has been an Assistant Golf Professional at Shoreline Golf Links since April, 2001. Bill can provide golf instruction at Shoreline Golf Links, your house, your office, or your backyard party! Bill is also a Faculty Member of the V1 Golf Academy (www.v1golfacademy.com) offering on-line video golf instruction. |
Bill feels his greatest attribute is the fact that he once was a 14 handicap golfer! Bill has personally experienced the frustrations of most of his students in trying to achieve a good golf swing. Bill feels having experienced those challenges and knowing what steps he (personally) took to overcome those challenges will greatly benefit all of his students. Bill looks at his students as individuals. All students are different. They come in all shapes and sizes. They have different goals. They all have different ways of learning. Trying to shape every student into the same mold, using the same techniques and same training methods is impractical and harmful to the student. Bill works hard to find out what golf swing works best for the student (one-plane; two-plane; "stack-and-tilt;" or natural golf). Bill analyzes each student to understand how they learn best. He works with the student to find a golf swing and teaching methodology that will work best for the individual student. Bill's lessons are not only educational and hands-on, they are also FUN! Bill has been described as a gregarious individual who can always be found with a smile on his face. His positive attitude, friendly personality and extensive knowledge of the golf swing are the reasons his students continually come back for more! |

| November 7th, 2008, Naples, FL Bill received "LAWS stage 1 & 2" certification from Golf Digest top 20 teacher, Jim "Doc" Suttie. "LAWS" (leverage, arc and width) is the study of 3 different swing types which are determined by a golfer's body type, personal strengths, and natural tendencies. One swing does not fit all! A tall skinny golfer shouldn't be taught the same swing as a short, stocky golfer. "LAWS" defines the elements of each swing and helps the golf professional teach the correct golf swing to the individual golfer. Bill is now an accredited laws 1 & 2 golf professional!! Thanks, Doc!! |
